While you've been gone...

It's been a while since we've had a blog post. That's what happens when you're gearing up for one of the biggest, baddest and Beastliest (is that a word?) events in Erie. Things get busy. But in the upcoming days, weeks and months, we'll have some great things ahead for everyone preparing for the Barber Beast on the Bay, which takes place on September 12 this year. If you thought last year was great, just you wait!

Here's a rundown of some of the things we've done or seen in the last few weeks:

-Over 550 participants already signed up to tackle the Beast. (Females are currently beating the males).

-Fundraiser Patrick Eller taking on the fundraising trail with no mercy, raising nearly $1,500 already.

-We've collaborated with a class at Penn State Behrend to get their ideas on Beast-related opportunities. 

-Erie Reader crowned us the Best Athletic Competition of 2014. 

-Finalist at Erie Sports Commission for Local Event of the Year.

We're a big deal and we're only going to get bigger! Bring out the Beast in you.
